Research on Spread Model of ''Protecting Worm''

【Abstract】A network spread model of “protecting worms” is put forward. The model has a good performance in large-scaled antivirus as well as a controllable character to balance the load of network and spread speed through several parameters. Furthermore, a new mathematic model for the network spread model is developed from the Kermack-Mckendrick formulas which suit for the traditional worm spread pattern. For the testing purpose, a simplified mathematic model is set up to predict the spreading speed.
