Генетические маркеры заболеваний, занимающих полярные позиции в психосоматическом континууме внутренних болезней

A comparative analysis of the distribution of HindIII DNA polymorphism of lipoprotein lipase gene and insertion-deletion polymorphism of ACE gene in patients with coronary artery disease and patients with community-acquired pneumonia found that risk genotypes of one disease were antirisk genotypes for the other, and vice versa. It was shown that the opposite effect of genotypes of studied genes on the development and adverse course of coronary artery disease and community-acquired pneumonia corresponded to polar positions of these diseases in psychosomatic continuum of internal medicine, and might be mediated by the features of lipid metabolism, immunological status, and vascular tone.
