Encuentro: La Participación Política: Avances y limitaciones a 4 años de la implementación del Acuerdo de Paz en Colombia

This meeting was held within the framework of the Week for Peace in 2020 Main objective: To carry out an analysis from the perspective of the different actors on the current state of implementation of point 2 of the Final Peace Agreement between the Colombian State and the FARC EP. Specific objectives: - Present a descriptive analysis of the transition of the FARC guerrilla to a political party based on its participation in the 2018 and 2019 elections. - Discuss the progress in terms of political participation in the process of implementation of the Agreement 3 years after its signature. - Identify the issues that have not presented any progress in terms of political participation after the signing of the agreement. - Identify the possible temporary and structural obstacles that have not allowed the implementation of point 2 of the agreement. - Discuss from the perspective of each of the guests the scope, difficulties and challenges of the implementation of point 2 of the Final Peace Agreement between the Colombian State and the FARC EP.
