Laser Treatment in Glaucoma

Several possible uses of laser for glaucoma treatment have currently been introduced, its assessment ranging from promising to reliable. The main fields of clinical application are: 1) Laser iridectomy for narrow-angle glaucoma 2) Laser iridectomy as a prophylactic measure against an acute attack of the narrow-angle glaucoma on a fellow eye 3) Laser trabeculopuncture for the “simple” (“wide-angle”) glaucoma.
