Analysis on incidence of stroke in Xiqing District of Tianjin from 2016-2019

Objective To understand the incidence and characteristics of stroke in Xiqing District of Tianjin,provide a scientific and reasonable basis for targeted prevention and management of stroke. Methods The epidemiological analysis was performed on stroke incidence data in Xiqing District of Tianjin from 2016-2019. ACCESS was used to establish a database,and statistical analysis was performed using software such as SPSS 24.0. The measurement data was expressed as,and the count data was expressed as a composition ratio. The χ~2 trendwas used to predict the incidence rate. Results From 2016 to 2019,a total of19 543 stroke cases were reported in Xiqing District of Tianjin,and the incidence rate was 1 176.32/lakh,1 206.75/lakh,1 025.61/lakh and 1 177.81/lakh. The total incidence of males(1 321.93/lakh) was higher than that of females(979.04/lakh),and the difference was statistically significant ( χ~2= 441. 683, P < 0. 05 ). The incidence of stroke in males showed a significant upward trend (χ~2 trend= 3.988,P<0.05),while that in females showed a significant downward trend (χ~2 trend=33.025,P<0.05). The median age of onset of stroke in the whole population was 67 years old,and that was 65 years old in males and 69 years old in females.Although Yangliuqing Town had the highest overall incidence rate in four years,the overall incidence rate showed a downward trend in terms of the time of onset. Conclusion The incidence of stroke among residents in Xiqing District of Tianjin is higher,and the incidence of some streets and towns is significantly higher than the average level in the country and other regions. In the future,it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases,especially the tertiary prevention of stroke. To reduce the occurrence of stroke will become the focus of disease prevention and control in Xiqing District.
