Aydın ili çilek alanlarında Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) (Thysanoptera Thripidae)’nin popülasyon dalgalanmaları

The study was conducted in two strawberry gardens in the Central and Incirliova districts of Aydin in 20112012. During the study, these gardens were visited on a weekly basis and examined of thrips obtained with flowers and netting. As a result of study, Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergende) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) was determined as common pest in strawberry in Aydin. Also, it was determined that F.occidentalis individuals have appeared in the beginning of April and developed their populations. The population has peaked in mid June, and then decreased from July on.
