Risk Assessment and Risk Management

The members of the Breakout Group on Risk Assessment and Risk Management were Donald R. Mattison, Marvin L. Meistrich, William L. Russell, Harold Zenick, and myself. Many issues related to risk assessment and risk management were discussed. Although the group attempted to consider the broad range of issues represented at this conference, considerably more emphasis was given to genetic effects because quantitative risk estimation is much further advanced for genetic effects than it is for the other endpoints discussed.
