Neurocirugía regenerativa en el paciente parapléjico: Esperanzas y realidades

A summary of the preclinical studies that led to the first clinical trial of cell therapy authorized in Spain for the treatment of patients with complete and chronically established traumatic paraplegia is presented. The results of this trial have opened a door of hope for patients with great disability secondary to a spinal cord injury and set the standards for what is known as Regenerative Neurosurgery.
