보중익기탕 과립엑스제 투여로 피로와 삶의 질이 개선된 항암화학방사선 동시요법 후의 자궁경부암 환자 1례

Objective：To evaluate the effects of Bojungikki-tang extracts on improvement of fatigue and quality of life in patient with cervical cancer after concurrent chemoradiation therapy. Methods：A patient with cervical cancer after concurrent chemoradiation therapy had taken Bojungikki-tang extracts for eight weeks. Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS) and EORTC QLQ-30 was assessed before treatment, 4-week after treatment, and 8-week after treatment. Serum biochemisty and hematology was also assessed before treatment and 8-week after treatment to evaluate safety. Result：Mean score of FSS was decreased from 4 to 2.11, Quality of life grade(EORTC QLQ-30) was increased from 50 to 83.3. There was no significant change in Serum biochemisty and hematology. Conclusion：Bojungikki-tang extracts might be a feasible treatment to improve fatigue and quality of life in patient with cervical cancer after concurrent chemoradiation therapy.
