GENDER AND LANGUAGE POLITENESS

The aims of this article are to describe gender and language politeness which examines the description of relation of gender and language politeness in the form of speech acts based on gender. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The technique used in collecting data through direct observation, recording, and recording. Determination of the compliance and deviation of the principle of politeness of language is based on indicators of politeness of language derived from Leech's theory.
