Susceptibility of House Fly ( Musca domestica ) to Different Compounds in Thailand, 1993-1995 (การทดสอบความไวของแมลงวันจากจังหวัดต่างๆต่อเคมีกำจัดแมลงบางชนิด พ.ศ. 2636-2538)

The purpose of this study was to determine the susceptibility level of the flies from various provinces to insecticides. The adult flies (F 1, F 2 ) were tested by topical application with malathion, fenitrothion, propoxur and permethrin at the dosage rate of 1 microlitre per female fly. The results revealed that many house flies in Thailand were low resistant to malathion and permethrin, but many of them were susceptible to fenitrothion and propoxur.
