THE STABILITY CONSTANTS OF ARSENATE ASSOCIATES OF COBALT(III) AMMINES IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION

1990
The reactions of Co(NH 3 ) 3+ 6 (I) and Co(NH 3 ) 5 (OH) 2+ (II) with AsO 3− 4 (III), HAsO 2− 4 (IV), and H 2 AsO 4 − (V) in 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 M aqueous sodium chloride solutions at pH 4.5-13.3 and temperatures of 288-318 K have been studied spectrophotometrically. Change in temperature in the range 288-313 K has no significant effect on the stability constants of the associates I.IV and II.IV
