[Chronic HCV hepatitis with normal level of alanine transaminase: interferon therapy of active observation?].

: Patients with markers of replication of chronic HCV-infection and normal level of alanine transaminase received antiviral monotherapy with interferon. Clinical, biochemical, virological data were compared to morphometric examinations of the hepatic biopsy at different stages of interferon therapy. Relevant correlations with the controls were made. Interferon therapy in the above patients should be conducted on the individual basis.
