Design and Preparation of Thematic Maps Based on Mapinfo and CorelDRAW

By the integrated use of Mapinfo and CorelDRAW,an thematic map example is designed and prepared.Mapinfo offers an expressive function of spatial information mapping,but it can not meet the requirements of editing and publishing the map.And vector drawing softwares like CorelDRAW offer editing beautifying function.Mapinfo and CorelDRAW are combined to reduce the labor intensity in the preparation of thematic maps and improve efficiency and quality of cartographic mapping,enhancing expression and readability of the map information.
