Still another unsucessful search for 5H

Abstract We have carried out a search for 5 H using the reaction 7 Li( π , pn) 5 H. No evidence for the reported 5 H activity was found, although we easily observed the activities 8 Li and 9 Li from a natural boron target and 12 B from a carbon target.
