Organic light emitting display and method of manufacturing the same

2006
An organic light emitting display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve trapping efficiency of a carrier by properly adjusting HOMOs(Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) and LUMOs(Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital) of a light emitting layer, a hole transporting layer, and an electron transporting layer, thereby improving luminous efficiency. An organic light emitting display includes a first electrode(A) formed on a substrate(SUB), a hole transporting layer(HTL) formed on the first electrode, a light emitting layer(EL) formed on the hole transporting layer, an electron transporting layer(ETL) formed on the light emitting layer, and a second electrode(C) formed on the electron transporting layer. The light emitting layer has a soluble hole transporting host, a soluble electron transporting host, and a soluble light emitting dopant. A difference of an HOMO level is less than 1eV between each of the hole transporting layer and the hole transporting host and the light emitting dopant but more than 0.5eV between each of the hole transporting layer and the hole transporting host and the electron transporting hoist. A difference of an LUMO level is less than 1eV between each of the electron transporting layer and the electron transporting host and the light emitting dopant but more than 0.5eV between each of the electron transporting layer and the electron transporting host and the hole transporting host.
