Peut-on concilier les processus mis en œuvre dans les systèmes d’information hospitaliers et les systèmes d’information de recherche clinique pour le partage d’information?

In this paper we hypothesized that the synergy between hospital information systems and clinical research systems leads to mutual enrichment and improved efficiency. After briefly examining the constraints and differences in the clinical research and clinical care activities in terms of system and data collection, we review experiences and initiatives representing the state of the art in this field. We propose a process model that integrates electronic health records as e-source for clinical research. It reconciles methodological and regulatory constraints that impede organization and information sharing. Finally, we discuss the barriers to be removed to improve the sharing of data efficiently.
