Health‐Related Quality of Life and Cognitive Functioning in Pediatric Liver Transplant Recipients

2019
: Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) research remains somewhat of a Cinderella pursuit despite a good quality of life being one of the most valued attributes of human existence. Studies reporting HRQOL and that other important entity cognitive function remain somewhat rare, partly because HRQoL is a subjective, concept which is difficult to define and quantify, and also because the number and range of tools for measuring HRQOL makes comparison between groups of patients difficult and meta-analysis almost impossible.
