In 1990 the Department of Veterans' Affairs decided to make a paradigm shift in Us service delivery model A comprehensive client focused service delivery area was required and the multiplicity of community and medical support services had to become more accessible for veterans. These pressures led to the development and implementation of an integrated model of service delivery. Although there were some difficulties in its implementation due to a necessary change in culture, many positive outcomes have been achieved in the early stages
