Pixel array for fringe field switch type liquid crystal display panel and driving method thereof

A pixel array for fringe field switch type liquid crystal display panel disclosed in the invention includes a plurality of gate wires, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of common lines, wherein the gate wires are parallelly arranged along a first direction, the data lines are parallelly arranged along a second direction, the data lines and the gate wires define a plurality of second pixel regions arranged in arrays, and the common lines are arranged along the first direction and electrically separated from each other. Each of the common lines comprises a plurality of common electrode extending outwards along the second direction, and adjacent common electrodes of each common line are located in secondary pixel regions of different columns respectively.
