Design of CCII PID Controller for the Control of Glucose Blood Level Using GA

Analog circuits are readily being replaced by current mode devices. This paper aims to design the current mode design of PID controller to control of blood glucose level. A well-known optimization algorithm, the Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used to obtain the transfer function and is implemented using a single second generation Current Conveyor (CCII). The CCII circuit is realized using AD488 IC and the simulation results are presented.
