BS>From conference on day of nuclear ship propulsion; Trieste, Italy (28 Jun 1973). The modifications made to the FDR reactor with the installation of the second core are outlined. These modifications consist in the use of Zircaloy for both the tubes containing the fuel tablets and for the structural part of the fuel element. Bunch-type control elements are substituted for the cruciform control rods. (JSR)
