Not only are the Tertiary stratigraphic and structural relationships wondrous - a microcosm of challenges faced in deciphering southern Arizona geology - but the copper deposit is wondrous in its own way, and you will have the opportunity on this trip to make up your own mind about its origin based on what you can see for yourself in the field.
