The present invention discloses a system for AGV travel condition detection based on magnetic nail Array (MPA, Magnetic Pin Array); and embedded in the container terminal yard and MPA, to establish the position of the terminal yard and positional coordinates corresponding to the matrix of the MPA, , obtained by mounting the AGV vehicle (the preceding vehicle and the following vehicle) electromagnetic induction coil below the AGV traveling into the inner coil sensing range buried magnetic nail (MP) of the magnetic pulse signal, thereby obtaining a current position of the AGV's, status information of speed, direction and the like; the current position of the AGV, and the AGV from the central control system of the driving instruction (target position) to achieve the AGV unmanned AGV running control by the drive controller; the present invention is simple, reliable, practical, without environmental impact, not only for AGV navigation intelligent unmanned automatic container terminal, it can also be applied to large automated warehouse trucks unmanned automatic navigation.
