Alternaria Alternata Infection in A Patient With Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia

Alternaria alternate (A. alterna ) is a fungus associated with infection in immunocompromised patients. Palate and sinus infections by this organism are extremely rare but can result in significant morbidity and mortality.
