Invasive ductular adenocarcinoma after breast implants removal.

2009
Background: A 58-year-old woman experienced a brief episode of pain in the left breast. On clinical examination, we observed scars due to prior breast surgery (bilateral breast augmentation followed by removal of prosthesis 6 years before presentation). Furthermore, there was a poorly defined palpable mass of 4 cm in the lateral lower quadrant of the left breast and several indurations bilaterally in the lower quadrants. Skin and areolar complexes were normal.
