Recent Progresses on Efficient Mobile Front-Haul for 5G Wireless Networks

We review recent progresses made in the field of mobile front-haul to support massive MIMO, cloud radio access networking, and small cell deployment. The evolution of mobile front-haul towards 5G wireless and its impact on time-sensitive optical networking are discussed.
