Superfatting agent and personal care composition

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a personal care composition which, when used as a cosmetic composition or the like, is stable, has low irritation to skin, is comfortable to skin, exhibits a high washing effect and a good sensation upon the application thereof onto skin, can produce foams having improved cushioning properties and having small sizes, has high rinsing properties, exhibits low stickiness on skin, and imparts excellent smoothness and can keep the smoothness for a prolonged period after being applied. A superfatting agent according to the present invention comprises a lipopeptide compound, squalane, an alkyl polyglycoside and a pH modifier for neutralization or pH-control use, said superfatting agent being characterized in that the ratio of the amount of the lipopeptide compound is 0.01 to 1% by mass inclusive relative to the total amount of the lipopeptide compound, squalane and the alkyl polyglycoside and the ratio of the amount of the squalane is 0.5 to 5% by mass inclusive relative to the total amount of the lipopeptide compound, squalane and the alkyl polyglycoside. A personal care composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing the superfatting agent in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by mass inclusive.
