Bleeding Solutions for Fungating Masses

Fungating masses are common in advanced cancers, which are marked by skin involvement and necrosis. They can present with life-threatening haemorrhage. Management of bleeding in this palliative patient cohort is complex and requires a multidisciplinary approach. Interventional radiology has an established role in the management of bleeding from malignant tumours and can be effectively used to treat bleeding from such masses.
