Led lighting device and led illumination fixture using the same

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device capable of preventing an inrush current and capable of light weight with a simple circuit structure. SOLUTION: The LED lighting device has a power supply unit 4 having a constant current output function and an LED unit 2 which is supplied with current from the power supply unit 4. A first capacitor C1 is connected in parallel to an output end of the power supply unit 4 and a second capacitor C2 is connected to the input end of the LED unit 2, and the second capacitor C2 has a capacity capable of absorbing the inrush current from the first capacitor C1 to the LED unit 2. When the non-load output voltage of the power supply unit 4 is made Vmax, the forward voltage of the LED unit 2 V F , the capacity of the first capacitor C1, and the capacity of the second capacitor C2, (Vmax-V F )×C1≤C2×V F is satisfied.
