The Association of Chlamydia Trachomatis and Ureaplasma Urealyticum Infection in Infertility

Objective To study the relationship between the infection of chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and ureaplasma urea- lyticum(UU)and tubal infertility.Methods CT was detected by immunofluorescence and UU detected by liquid incubation in the secretions of uterine cervix of women who suffered from primary infertility and secondary infertility.The appearance of fallo- pian tubes was examined by celoscope and tubography in 1 to 6 months after pathogen detection.Results The positively infec- ted rate of CT and UU is respectively 62(55.4% ) and 80(71.4%),the control is 28(28.0%) and 22(22.0%).It was prominenced discrepancy between patient and normal volunteers(P0.01).Conclusion The infertile women in child-bearing period without suffering from other infectious agents are closely correlated with CT and UU.
