PENGARUH SHIFT KERJA TERHADAP MOTIVASI PERAWAT DI RUANG IGD DAN ICU RSUD RATU ZALECHA MARTAPURA

The work Shift is a setting of working hours in the hospital which plays an important important role in human problems that can expand into sleep disorders, physical health, psychology, as well as social and family life, in the long term work Shifts can result in decreased motivation.             This study aims to determine the effect of work Shifts on the motivation of nurses in the emergency room and ICU at Ratu Zalecha Hospital Martapura. The method used is quantitative non-experimental, with a population of 40 nurses and using total sampling techniques. Data was analyzed by simple logistic regression test with a significance level of 0.05             The results showed that there was an effect of work Shifts on the motivation of nurses in the emergency room and ICU at Ratu Zalecha General Hospital Martapura with a p-value of 0.040 for work Shifts.             For implementing nurses, especially the emergency room and ICU, they are expected to maintain good communication and attitude with employers and colleagues so as to create a comfortable atmosphere, reduce stressors and boredom at work and make work Shifts a motivation for work.
