SUMMARY The author studies 17 cases of inveterate bronchial asthma that rebel to any treatment formerly used, were injected with nitrogen mus­ tard according to the Jimenez Diaz's treatment, at the dose of 4 mg. in alternative days to a to­ tal amount of 4 injections. Among those cases (from 16 well studied) he has found twelve ca­ ses of clinical healing, including many who had more than a year persistence, and four cases of improvement. Considerations are made over the results and over a case of exitus, not im uu­ table to the nitrogen mustard. He recommend this therapeutic in view of the enormous majo­ rity of clear healings or betterings. He exposed his method of patient's attendance to avoid to­ xica! disorders and points out the perfect to­ lerance in almost the generality of the cases.
