Coreopolítica: a dança presente na cidade

2020
The objective of this article is to unravel the notion of coreopolitics proposed by the researcher Andre Lepecki, amplified from a discussion between the boundaries of dance and performance, highlighting the body as a producer of aesthetic and political discourses. This approach comes from a cartography of recent works from the contemporary scene of the city, cut from editions of the edict of Fomento a Danca de Sao Paulo, which has existed since 2006, and has been fomenting different forms of production and creation in dance. extrapolating stages and cultural equipment, appropriating the public space to create "manifestos". Three figures of approach of the city are presented to bring the body of dance closer to the concept of coreopolitics: the flaneur, the cartographer and the nomad.
