Experimental study of the radiative-convective heat transfer in complex shape furnances of the gas-tube boiler

2016
Flows of gases in the furnaces is usually turbulent. In combustion turbulence problem is complicated by additional factors — chemical reactions and radiation. The size and configuration of combustion chamber, location and type of burners, characteristics of the environment affect the heat transfer. Different methods of calculating heat transfer in furnaces give conflicting results. The real proof of the calculation results are experimental studies. For this purpose, designed and constructed an experimental setup for research of radiation-convective heat transfer at movement of products of combustion in different profile channels This experimental setup is suitable for modeling and studying the processes of complex heat exchange between high temperature gas stream and the cold surface of the wall. A description of the characteristics of devices and equipment provided.
