О формировании фауны гадюк Волжского бассейна

The review of the hypotheses which explain areas formation of vipers of the Volga basin is given. It is marked, that hypotheses of occurrence and setting of species depend on ideas about character of pleistocene epoch. It is underlined necessity to use the paleontological data.
