A Photovoltaic Generation Integration Planning Model with Consideration of the Effect on Power Grid Security

2012
Based on the analysis of the deficiencies of current generation planning models and theories in the application photovoltaic generation integration planning, this paper presents a novel planning model from the perspectives of the layout planning of corresponding facilities needed for the integration, and construction planning evaluation. The former, which is based on the energy location information (ELI), as well as the positional weight information (PWI), is adopted to preliminarily evaluate the optional schemes. The impacts of connection spot on the power grid security are considered especially, and a new methodology to evaluate the availability of solar energy by introducing the concepts of solar resource unavailability frequency (SRUF) and solar resource average unavailability duration (SRAUD) is proposed; the latter presents an evaluation system including modules of economic analysis and environmental analysis. By using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) with group decision-making and information entropy, comprehensive judgment can be realized. The achievements of this research provide basic theoretical references for the further practices.
