Hepatocellular carcinoma developing at the puncture site after percutaneous ethanol injection

Percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI) is an option for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treatment that is most effective for solitary lesions ≤5 cm or multiple lesions ≤3 cm. Malignant seeding along the needle tract is a rare complication of the procedure.
