Cooling jacket for an electric machine and method of assembling of the cooling jacket as well as equipped with a cooling jacket electric machine

The invention relates to a cooling jacket (4) for an electrical machine. The cooling jacket (4) has an inner shell (5) and an outer shell (6) and extending one between the inner shell (5) and the outer shell (6) and through which a coolant cooling chamber (11). The inner shell (5) and the outer shell (6) by at least one material connection are connected and the cooling space (11) is hermetically sealed. According to the invention it is provided that the at least one integral connection between the inner shell (5) and the outer shell (6) is designed as an adhesive compound (12). Moreover, the invention relates to a method for mounting a cooling jacket (4) and equipped with a cooling jacket (4) electric machine.
