Calibration of vibration monitoring system for hydropower units based on PULSE analysis system

With the periodic calibration of the on-line intelligent vibration monitoring system for hydropower units made based on the PULSE analysis system,the reliability of it can be ensured.Taking the 300 MW pumped-storage units of Guangzhou Pumped-Storage Hydropower Station as the studying case,the sensor and vibration monitoring system channels of the units are calibrated with the PULSE analysis system;from which the errors,alarms and protection values of all the channels of the devices are corrected,and then not only the measurement accuracy is guaranteed,but the probability of the trip error is also reduced.This is the first time for the calibration of the on-line vibration monitoring devices made in situ for the pumped-storage units in China.
