The present invention relates to the preparation of crystalline RE-doped luminescent material and its application in hybrid solar cells, which is prepared as follows: The rare earth oxide was dissolved in concentrated hydrochloric acid was completely dissolved into a clear solution, saturated with salt the clear solution was added to complete precipitation, the calcined powder was taken incorporated into the TiO2 colloid, the porous rare earth doped n-type semiconductor material is of TiO2 photoanodes, the hole transport layer by a PEDOT: PSS and electrons form an electron - hole to complete a cycle, finally obtained crystalline luminescent material doped with RE hybrid solar cells. Advantage of the present invention are: successful synthesis of RE-doped crystalline luminescent material, by varying the doping rare earth ions and a precipitating agent of the solar cell p-type semiconductor and n-type semiconductor energy level matching, to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the solar cell.
