We must always keep in mind that overdose with quetiapine may be associated with coma, respiratory depression, hypotension, QT prolongation, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, extreme rhabdomyolysis and acute renal failure. Major overdoses of quetiapine warrant close observation in an intensive care setting.
