Multi-objective Hierarchical Framework of Planning for Distributed Energy System

This paper proposes a multi-objective hierarchical planning framework of distributed energy system (DES). A multi-objective optimization model is established and employed to optimize the configurations of distributed energy system. The objectives incorporate three aspects of indexes including energy supply deficiency rate, comprehensive energy utilization ratio, and total annual costs. Equipment selection and capacity constraints, operation constraints and interaction with equipment constraints are taken into consideration. A hierarchical optimization methodology is employed to solve the multi-objective planning model. The proposed method is applied to a building DES planning. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed optimization methodology can ensure the stability, economy and efficiency of system optimal design.
