Parallel synthesis and high throughput characterization techniques for catalysts and phosphors library

The parallel synthesis methods and high throughput characterization techniques for catalysts and phosphors library were reviewed based on the work of the author's research group.The contents include drop-on-demand ink-jet delivery technique,parallel solution combustion synthesis,thin film deposition combined with quarternary or in-situ physical mask,VUV phosphors library screening system,scanning spectroscopy system,IR thermography and synchrotron FT-IR spectral imaging.Finally,several examples of screening new materials via combinatorial method were demonstrated,such as sensitized phosphors VUV phosphors and some catalytic materials respondent to visible light.
