PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extending the life of a catalyst used in vapor phase catalytic fluorination reaction of 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro propene producing raw material 1,1,1,3,3-penta-chloro-propane (HCC-240fa) and hydrogen fluoride (HF).SOLUTION: The improvement in catalyst life for catalytic vapor phase reaction of 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro propene forming 1,1,1,3,3-penta-chloro-propane and hydrogen fluoride, is achieved by introducing an oxygen co-supply flow into the fluorination reaction vessel. A method for extending the catalyst life by at least 2 times (2×) by introducing an oxygen co-supply flow to the reaction vessel supply flow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
