The objective of this article is to manifest that Information Technologies and Comunicacion (TIC) are a dynamic element in the development of a textile confection sector and the economy of a country in general. The used methodology is a review of literature, search of authors and theoretical references of the topic to accomplish a critical analysis of the proposed topic. As a result it is evidenced that TIC are transverse tools to the management of the chain of supply, through them companies manage to count on information in real time, that allows them an adequate decision making and a flow of information and constant materials that gives as a final result a satisfied customer, which is in essence the objective of any entrepreneurial unit.
