Моделирование процесса магнитно-импульсной обработки твердожидких металлических суспензий

2013
A mathematical model is proposed to determine characteristics of the magnetic-pulse processing for semisolid aluminum alloy A357 suspension, when inductors with different amount of turns are used. It is revealed that under a minimal possible gap of 5 mm between the inductor and the surface of a high Tc suspension the flow in cavities of the foundry form is realized with the discharge current of 35 kA, at least, and the maximum pressure that provides the compression and compaction of the metal is realized with pulses of 110 kA and more. The shear rate that depends on the current and pulse frequency is confined within several tens of s-1.
