The invention relates to a method of using an imaging device, which are determined from the 2D views of the 3D display in accordance with the acquisition geometry of the imaging device for a plurality of observation points of an acquisition geometry for 2D images of an observation area, an area for a 3D representation exists, can so that each acquired 2D image with any of these more views may be superimposed on each other.
