Does laser irradiation affect bronchial obstruction

1995
: When tested in 115 patients with chronic obstructive bronchitis and bronchial asthma, low-energy laser radiation (Uzor unit) on bronchial obstruction had no direct broncholytic action. However, as a component of combined treatment, the above radiation produced a marked broncholytic effect due to its antiinflammatory action. Laser is recommended as a therapeutic modality in combined management of pulmonary obstruction.
