A kinetic model of chemical and physical processes under impulse initiation : freon-22 conversion under laser heating

1993
The method of IR pulse initiation of chemical reactions is considered. A mathematical model is suggested to describe physical and chemical processes following the pulse initiation: changes in both temperature and concentration fields through the volume of a chemical reactor are calculated as rime functions. CHClF 2 decomposition is investigated experimentally in the presence of a sensitizer under TEA CO 2 -laser irradiation. It is found that the composition of reaction products depends on the conditions of laser pyrolysis. The results of model calculations are in good agreement with the experimental data
